Vote Pam James for
Wake Forest Commissioner

Pam has witnessed our once storybook forest town morph into an overdeveloped, congested city due to Commissioners who have ignored residents' cries while fostering sprawl and supporting a toll road on US1. Her campaign focuses on responsible growth oversight, traffic alleviation, and addressing the housing crisis that forces fixed-income seniors from their homes and prevents college graduates from establishing families in Wake Forest.

The Issues That Matter to Me

Wake Forest residents are expressing frustration with overdevelopment, including multi-story apartment buildings and crowded single-family developments, which has led to increased traffic and accidents despite clear voter opposition in the 2023 municipal election. The current Commissioners have failed to implement a building moratorium or create viable traffic solutions, while placing infrastructure burdens on taxpayers rather than developers. A comprehensive plan is needed that includes high-density building restrictions, developer-funded accommodations, affordable housing for essential workers and seniors, and a return to the town's historical character while ensuring residents' voices are genuinely heard in both local and county-level decision making.
